Vesper

Vesper is all grown up! I first met her when she was eight weeks old, then photographed her gangly teenage years when she was six months old. For her final Puppy Package session we thought it would be fun to incorporate her family’s beautiful Christmas tree, so we had a December session at 17 months old. Although she’s much bigger than she was as a puppy, she’s a little Weimaraner, only about 50 pounds! And she is a beauty. Full of energy and spunk, she loves to play and always has to be near her people.

She can throw her toys to herself and has a ridiculous vertical leap, so you can imagine how endlessly entertaining her presence is! I feel like I only spent half her session shooting – the other half I spent just laughing while I watched her play – zooming over chairs and army-crawling under beds…

Meredith Prechter Young - As always, thanks for the beautiful pictures Lessia! I can’t believe she is all grown up (at least physically – she definitely has some puppy left in her personality)!

Janet Prechter Golden - You have a fine talent. If Meredith had human babies, you’d be a millionaire. If you’re ever in Asheville, NC I’d love to have you take some great photos of my new baby, my new home in the mountains.
