These sweet Welsh terriers are a mother and son trio – Sonnet (in the middle, below) is the mom, and Spencer and Coach are her two sons. Sonnet looks amazing at 14 years, and the boys are both 10 years old, if you can believe it.
Lovely Sonnet is a retired show champion and former therapy dog as well. Spencer is the most outgoing of the three and always wants to be the star of the show, and don’t tell him he’s 10! He still thinks he’s a puppy and all the modeling for this session hardly fazed him at all! Coach is the calm brother, always ready for a belly rub or a good nap. All three were fantastic models and I enjoyed every minute with them. (Carolyn, thanks for a great session!)

Barbara Brennan - Carolyn: Totally awesome. Actually brought tears to my eyes remembering my Buster. The longer the time without that incredible boy, the more I long for a Welshie. Love Snicks but Buster she ain’t. The indominable spirit of a Welshie is among their most endearing qualities abd Buster epitomized that attribute. He may not have “seen” the last 3-1/2 to 4 years but he actually did see and enjoy more than any dog I’ve ever known. Every day was an adventure for him and he couldn’t wait to start the day. The beautiful eyes of your “kids” speak volumes. I have to be honest and tell you that I truly envy you!
