Lizey

Lizey is an 11-year-old lab mix whose mom was worried she wouldn’t be very photogenic for her shoot – I think it’s safe to say that was definitely not the case! She is a beautiful girl who LOVES squirrels (sadly, there was not one to be found the day of our session) and canvasing her neighborhood for new scents. Lizey was rescued when she was three, and she is attached at the hip to her mom, so she does really well off-leash which is perfect for the abundance of different parks she has near her home. She is such a sweet, happy girl – I had such a wonderful time photographing her!

Brigid & Milo

Brigid is a 10-year-old lab mix and Milo is her cat brother, a 7-year-old Seal Point Ragdoll. No one has ever told these two they’re not the same species though – they are the best of friends and Milo loves to try to spoon with Brigid when she’s sleeping!

Milo is one of the most outgoing and affectionate cats I’ve ever met. He didn’t run when I first arrived, and every time his mom sat down for a second he crawled into her lap and started purring. He’s also the first cat I’ve ever seen who stands up in windows to look out just like dogs do! And definitely the first to give kisses – he actually bumps his nose to his mama’s chin and licks her! He was so much fun to meet.

My favorite thing about Brigid was her spotted socks – they are so distinctive and unique, and another reason I’m so partial to mixed breeds! She still think she’s a puppy and loves to play and explore. When she’s not doing that, she’s curling up on her mom’s feet for a tummy rub. 馃檪 Thank you, Megan, for such a great session!

Kaka贸

Kaka贸 is a ridiculously adorable Yorkshire Terrier whose mama celebrated her first year birthday with a photo session! We couldn’t have had better luck – all winter I have had rainy and overcast days which required tons of rescheduling, but we booked this date for her actual birth date and the weather turned out to be perfect – sunny and unseasonably warm. If that weren’t enough to make this a great session, Kaka贸 proved to be a photographer’s dream! She is full of spunk and personality, and also very well-trained with a cute repertoire of tricks.

I had so much fun getting to know this sweet girl that it really was quite difficult to make myself leave when the session was finished. Happy Birthday Kaka贸!

admin - Sharon – I know, I was so sad to hear about Gypsy Rose. I would love to meet Penelope though – what an adorable name!

Sharon Collins - She is just too, too precious for words! Of course, I’m partial to Yorkies. Lost my sweet Gypsy Rose last year, but I now have Penelope Rose. Need to think about getting photos of her. You do such a great job, Leesia!!

Joni Solis - Each photo is cuter than the last. What a baby doll! I bet her mom is so proud of her.
