Chip & Daily

Chip is a 12-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Daily is his 6-year-old Beagle mix sister, rescued from the Atlanta Humane Society. These two are quite the pair! Chip loves to fetch and is eager to please – he was a dream to photograph since he was so attentive and full of adorable expressions.

Daily is the wild child, full of energy and spunk. Once she gets the tennis ball, she won’t let it go! She will actually bark with it still in her mouth and when we tried to tempt her with treats to get her to drop it, she actually tried to eat the treat with the ball still in her mouth. (It didn’t work – she walked around for a bit with a treat smashed on the other side of the tennis ball, ha!)

Megan Case - This corgi is cracking me up. What a little model he is! Great shots of both of them!

Liz - Chip is such the gentleman! The one with him on the brick wall is somehow both cute and regal at the same time.

Disco & Diesel

Disco and Diesel are Boxer brothers who, though they aren’t actual littermates, make a great pair. Since they both have the trademark Boxer athleticism, they play well together with or without toys, and both have all the endearing, goofy expressions I have come to expect from this breed. Disco is the younger brother at two years old, and Diesel is the senior who can still hold his own. Look at these faces!

Happy Holidays!

Just a quick note to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday – I will be out of the office from December 19th through January 2nd. Thank you all for another great year – I have met so many wonderful dogs and cats this year. It is truly an honor being chosen to photograph your furry family members.

Also, if you’re looking for last-minute gift ideas, the Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption 2012 calendar is available for $10 – my photography was donated free of charge, so every penny goes directly to the dogs and cats awaiting homes. You can also make a donation to APRA in honor of a friend or loved one, and any donation of $50 or more will receive a special acknowledgement and calendar magnet featuring a dog or cat who was adopted this year. (Click here and select “Holiday Gift Donation.”)

Red Bandanna is also raising money with a 2012 calendar to benefit the Red Bandanna Angel Fund and Friends of Dekalb Animals. You can pick up a copy in any of their local stores or purchase one online here.

Have a wonderful holiday – see you in 2012!
