The Tucker Farm

I love it any time photos from The Tucker Farm pop up in my facebook feed, so getting to visit in person was like being on a movie set! I felt like I was meeting celebrities of the animal world and it was an absolute blast. This made me want to move out of the city so I could live on a farm and roll around in the grass all day with adorable baby goats, bunnies, and dogs!

I’ll list out the names of the stars appearing in this ginormous blog post, but follow The Tucker Farm on facebook if you want to get to know them better. I’m still trying to remember names… :p Norm is the French bulldog, Lola is a pit mix and therapy dog, Lottie is the pit mix girl with the adorable ears, and Dewey is the shih tzu mix. And Pat, Paige, and Pam are the Nigerian Dwarf goats!

Bella

I photographed Bella almost four years ago, when she was just nine months old. Now she’s expecting a new baby sister very soon, so it was the perfect time for a session to honor Bella as the first baby of the family!

Bella is still as beautiful as ever, and she’s still quite the athlete. She’s obsessed with fetching sticks, and any time you go near the back door she takes it as a signal that playtime is coming and starts wagging her tail furiously in anticipation while she waits by the door. She’s a completely different dog outside, a Cavalier King Charles who thinks she’s a lab, barking and bowing and running for her stick. Inside, she’s cuddly and quiet – so quiet you can barely hear the pitter-patter of her muppet feet on the floor. Needless to say, you’ll fall in love with her either way!

Baloo

Baloo, aptly named after The Jungle Book character, is an 11-week-old English black lab puppy who’s so cute that during his session, literally every person that walked by was compelled to stop and ask about him. Can you blame them!? He is all paws and ears right now, with a squishy round belly that makes him look like he’s waddling more than walking. He’s already a love, perking up every time he hears a new voice.

He’s a brave little explorer and incredibly smart too. He already sits patiently for treats and makes a beeline for his potty spot when it’s time to get down to business. He’s growing like crazy and it was so fun to meet him in this fleeting puppy stage.

Of course we can’t overlook the queen of the house, a lovely rescued kitty named Cersei:
