Clarence & George

Clarence and George are stunning yellow labs who are brothers but not littermates: they have the same parents, but Clarence is six months old and George is the big brother who’s almost two years old now. Clarence is in that endearing teenage stage, all gangly legs and endless energy. George is the perfect companion for him – they romp around the yard together and play constantly. When one of them has a toy, the other immediately drops whatever he’s doing to find out what he’s missing out on.

Then when they finally wipe out, they do that together too. Groups shots can often be quite difficult, but with this pair it was more difficult to get a photo of only one of them! It was so much fun glimpsing a day-in-the-life of these lucky boys. Aren’t they ridiculously handsome?!

Please, oh please, can I get up on the bed?

Scout

Meet Scout! She is a spunky terrier mix who was adopted from Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption two years ago. She’s almost three now and is keeping her mom company while her dad is working overseas. She is the perfect companion, snuggly and playful, and a very diligent watchdog. Scout has three different lookout spots on different sides of the house, and runs back and forth to keep track of all the comings and goings. On her daily walks, she loves exploring and looking for squirrels.

Scout has the most soulful, expressive brown eyes. If she lived in my house, I’m afraid she would be able to get away with pretty much anything!

Edith

Edith (Edie for short) is a ridiculously photogenic two-year-old English Bulldog whose family just welcomed a baby boy last year. She has been wonderful with him – gentle, attentive, and sweet. She’s even great about distinguishing between her toys and his – it’s her baby brother who thinks the dog toys are for him! Edie has such a loving bond with each member of her family and I hoped to capture just a slice of that in these images.

Edie is one of the most agile and athletic English Bulldogs I’ve ever met – she can run surprisingly fast and even has a vertical leap! I had so much fun meeting her and her beautiful family.

One of Edie’s trademark poses: sleeping with her back foot out like this:
